- TriviaThe name Villanelle uses as her interrogatory with her help hotline (Dozen Incorporated), "Cher Horowitz" is the character Cher's (played by Alicia Silverstone) full name from Clueless (1995). Her distress code was that she "failed her driving test" - which was an obstacle for Cher in the movie. This is a callback to how she repeatedly mentioned she liked watching movies in series one.
- GoofsEve calls a number to get copies of photos of the dead boy in the hospital. The phone screen shows the title GCHQ as the number she is dialing. GCHQ is a signal intercept organisation and would have no reason to hold photos of a killing.

Meandering page turner
I was with Killing Eve until half way through series 1 when the narrative started to become subservient to the demands of the final scene page turner. Series 2 continues in this vein with glaring narrative howlers similar to Line of Duty but I'll stick with it just because Comer is, like Stephen Graham, electrifying on screen
