Psych: The Movie has added a new baddie for Gus and Shawn to (literally?) grapple with.
Four-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte “Daughter of Ric” Flair is making her acting debut in the reunion movie as Heather Rockrear, the sidekick to Zachary Levi’s recently cast villain, Thin White Duke, TVGuide.com reports.
Flair is among good (wrestling) company as the series has previously cast other professional wrestlers in guest-starring roles, including John Cena, The Bella Twins, The Miz, Stacy Keibler, Big Show and Mickie James.
Psych: The Movie will premiere this December on USA Network.

Which of today’s TVLine Items piques your interest?
When they said Alphas alum to Castle, I thought they were talking about the show Castle. That show is done.
When I saw that someone had replied to the post, I had a feeling they were going to mention the Castle tease…guess I wasn’t wrong (no judgment, just an observation). I loved the show and still get a little misty-eyed when I even see the word “castle”.
So weird seeing Chuck as a blonde. That alone makes it certain that he is a villain.
WOOOOO!! Charlotte Flair in the Psych TV-movie is something.
Makes sense she’s playing a villain too.
Since to see Psych continuing to embrace the WWE. I mean, I know they’re all on the USA network together and so network synergy is probably part of the reason why, but you also got the impression James Roday and some of the writers (if not more) genuinely love the scripted sport.
she’s terrible with promos
Facts.
I was honestly expecting a WWE casting with the Psych movie and I can’t wait to see how this plays out. I have to go back though ’cause I don’t remember Nikki and Brie’s guest spot, though. John Cena’s was amazing however.
Is Heather Rockrear supposed to be a wordplay on Heather Locklear? :)
I was thinking the same thing.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Charlotte is awesome but she’s not so much with the acting. If they wanted a blonde who can act, they should have cast Alexa Bliss.
