Bihar: Man and son, both lawyers, shot on way to Chapra court
Image used for representative purpose onlyCHAPRA: A man and his son, both lawyers, were shot dead by miscreants while they were on way to Chapra court in Bihar's Saran, Wednesday. Police have arrested two accused.
The deceased were identified as Ram Ayodhya Prasad Yadav (70) and his son Sunil Kumar Yadav (30), residents of Methwalia village. Both were rushed to Chapra Sadar Hospital, where they were declared dead on arrival.
According to preliminary investigation, police suspect the murder took place owing to a land dispute.

Saran SP Kumar Ashish said that raids are on to arrest the remaining accused adding that a forensic science laboratory (FSL) team from Muzaffarpur was also summoned for investigation.
