San Diego State University Reviews

I have absolutely loved my time at SDSU. I am a transfer student and have been welcomed into my major and related clubs. I have made great new friends in my classes and have enjoyed all there is to eat and do on campus. My professors are all very understanding, hardworking and kind people who want me to gain knowledge and have a good understanding of the material, as well as have fun!
San Diego State University (SDSU) offers a well-rounded experience. The campus is beautiful, with traditional and modern architecture and well-kept green spaces. San Diego’s climate is near-perfect, with mild winters and warm, sunny summers. The location provides a peaceful retreat with city access.
Academically, SDSU has highs and lows. There are inspiring professors and some who fall short. The university offers excellent facilities and resources, supporting proactive students. The social scene is vibrant and diverse, fostering a strong community, though it can be overwhelming. Numerous clubs and events make it easy to form lasting friendships.
Dining options are diverse, enhancing campus life. Most importantly, SDSU’s diverse student body creates a rich, supportive community. For those who enjoy California weather, seek more-than-above-average education, and a vibrant social life, SDSU is an excellent choice.

I started at SDSU in 2020 during COVID. My school took the pandemic seriously and took every precaution necessary to ensure the safety of their students. Then when we were permitted to come back to campus, they made sure we were still safe and secure while still maintaining the quality of their curriculum. With how massive my school is, there is a lot of activities, night life, campus life, sporting events, concerts and all kinds of groups you can join to feel a part of the school. SDSU sends out frequent emails and notices on their social media sites that you need only to look to find something to be involved in. They are a very inclusive school. They make sure that everyone and their beliefs and heritage are represented and protected. I have met students from all around the world who study at SDSU. There classes are quite diverse too. There's lots of classes and degrees to choose from, as well as when you take your classes. You can go in person or to online classes as well.
