I can still remember being at Stagg right now. I really loved being a Charger, I made friends with fellow Jr's who are in sports that I cannot wait to at least show up to their games as an alumni. Go Charger's!
My overall experience with Amos Alonzo Stagg High School has definitely been positive. Being a Stagg student for over four years, and experiencing both the in-person learning model and the online learning model, I could say with confidence that Stagg High School is a very academic-oriented school, as they try their absolute best to create a comfortable and innovative learning environment for their students. Not only do they offer many AP courses to satisfy the ambitious students who wish to challenge themselves with immersive content, but their extracurriculars are also a great highlight. One flaw I had with Stagg was I felt like at times the school did not take a hands-on job in unifying the student body, as in creating a cohesive "Stagg culture." If I could change one thing about Stagg, I would make changes to the math and technology department, as I believe that Stagg is lacking in that field, and does not offer students with those passions much justice. Thanks for reading!
My overall experience with Stagg so far has been bad. The classes are limited, we have psychology and sociology. We should have forensic psychology or at least criminology. There are barely any career options. People go on field trips for their classes but not for careers they're interested in. Neighboring schools go on field trips to places like the fire department, airport, things like that. At the airport trip, they are allowed to go into the cockpit and see the plane. This would be a great opportunity for somebody that is interested in aviation or any airport job, because they get to see what it is like to work there. I believe that our school should give more field trip options like that, instead of bringing in so many people from colleges. I also believe we need more military recruiters to come in. The school spends too much money on things that don't matter, like decorations for foreign-country celebrations. Spend the money on academics and things that will benefit students.
