BAFTA has announced the shortlists for this year's Kids Vote.

The three categories are the only ones voted for by children aged 7-14 at the British Academy Children's Awards.

In the film category, Minions will go head-to-head with the likes of Big Hero 6, Inside Out and Paddington.

The revamped Thunderbirds Are Go competes against Appsolute Genius, SpongeBob SquarePants, Star Wars Rebels and Wolfblood in the TV shortlist.

And in the game category, FIFA 15 will aim to dismantle the likes of Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and Minecraft.

Voting is now open until November 21 on the BAFTA Kids website.

Nominations for the British Academy Children's Awards will be revealed this Thursday, October 22.

The ceremony takes place on Sunday, November 22.
