JENNINGS, Henry M. - Of Swartz Creek, age 87, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024 in Pensacola, Florida.
Visitation 1-8pm Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Private burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Linden.
Those desiring may make contributions to Studer Family Children’s Hospital c/o Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation.
Henry was born in Flint, Michigan on December 28, 1936. On August 29, 1959, he married Linda Neisch in Flint. Henry started with nothing and farmed 3,000 acres. In 1969, he was chosen as Michigan’s Outstanding Young Farmer, Group 3 Kellogg Farmer.
Surviving are wife, Linda;
sons, J. Stephen and wife Kimberly of Swartz Creek, Dr. Peter Jennings and wife Shawn of Florida and Matthew of Swartz Creek;
grandchildren, Michael and wife Morgan, Nichole Jennings, Aaron and fiancée Jennnifer Langham, Landrie, and Thomas Henry;
great-granddaughter, Sawyer;
sisters, Mary Eaton of Burton, Martha Allen of Mason, Alice and husband David Staten of Florida;
special friend, Michael Ketzler;
and many nieces, nephews and a host of special friends.
