Touching Reunion
A touching reunion that normally would have been what happens when jazz club
singer Andrea Marcovicci meets her father William Windom is postponed because
Windom has a mission.
Windom was released from prison for humanitarian reasons, he has a bad heart and is given not too much longer on the earth. But before that he's on the hunt for whoever sent him up for killing a drug dealer which he swears he didn't do.
One outstanding performance is from Julius Harris who is a drug gangster kingpin who Windom thinks is the responsible party. He's one mean dude and he has a confrontation scene with Telly Savalas that is for the books.
Some nice jazz numbers too and an appearance from Teddy Wilson the great jazz pianist. What more could you ask?
