The BOFH extension allows users to display a random BOFH (Bastard Operator From Hell) excuse on a wiki page.
Installation
- Grab the code via git:
cd extensions
git clone https://github.com/tessus/mwExtensionBOFH.git BOFH
- Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php:
require_once( "$IP/extensions/BOFH/BOFH.php" );
Done – Navigate to "Special:Version" on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
Usage
tag
Add a <bofh/> tag to display a random BOFH excuse.
function
A function can be used to display a random excuse in a nostalgic look.
{{bofh:}} will look like this:
Without a value the width of the box will be the length of the excuse, but you can also specify a fixed length {{bofh:600}} or a percentage {{bofh:40%}}.
