One evening at a dance Jack proposes and is accepted. He being so sure of Marjorie's acceptance has already procured a marriage license. Marjorie, on finding this out, refuses to marry Jack and returns his engagement ring. Marjorie's attention is then called to the fact that it is nearly ten o'clock, which is closing time at the dormitory. She applies to Mr. Evans, Jack's rival, to escort her home and on their arrival at the dormitory find it closed. Evans secures a ladder and Marjorie climbs into what she thinks is her own room, but finds to her horror that she had entered a room in the boys' dormitory, which later proves to be Jack's. She crawls under the bed in terror. Jack come home - discovers her. While they are planning a means of escape, a professor appears on the scene.
