Due to Rafa's suspension Mateo patrols with Marina, and they investigate the case of a immigrant from Benin which seems to be the victim of voodoo magic by members of her community, when the case is revealed to be related with a Spanish man romantically involved with the girl, Ferrer and Ruso join the investigation. After Carlos carelessness putted Mateo's life in danger, the relationship between the two friends is strained, Carlos is desperate as he considers Mateo the last good thing in his life. The cops deal with the kidnapping of a young tennis player, but the day the ransom is delivered things seem to be different from what they seem, during the investigation Carlos accidentally makes a discovery involving his partner Lola private life. Pedro and Nerea's relationship grows stronger, but as the couple dates Nerea has trouble to establish a more intimate relationship, while this happens the killer from last episode stars stalking Nerea as he begins to obsess with her.
