CCTV cameras show Richard to have rowed with another cyclist,prior to the offence. The assumption is made that Richard went after the victim,believing he was the party with whom he argued - until it is shown that Richard has an alibi. Suspicion then falls on Asif,the young parking valet at the club,who often raced members' cars, on the spurned Bella and on Richard's wife,who mistook Bella for his mistress.
