Justice for Zahn McClarnon getting robbed thrice for Reservation Dogs!

    And Westworld too.

    Don’t forget Fargo.

Worth mention that he was already robbed twice for Dark Winds itself as well, would love to see him breakthrough for this role at Emmys

Netflix doing a weekly release for Arcane and calling it Acts lol. The animated hit’s second and final season will roll out in three acts, the streamer revealed as part of its Geeked Week event on Thursday. Act One will premiere on Saturday, Nov. 9, with Act Two on Nov. 16 and Act Three on Nov. 23. (How many episodes will be in each act has not yet been announced.)

First season was released in the exact same way, Saturday included (which is unusual for Netflix). I can tell already that this is going to be the show of the year

YES, darling, definitely. I also never played LOL and you don’t need to do so to understand or enjoy the show. The animation alone is gorgeous, but the show builds heavily in the story arc and character development (which are all great). Also, Ella Purnnell is great in it, if you liked her in Fallout then prepare yourself for an even better performance

I did know many of these figures but as y’all said, those are like the most lucrative TV roles ever, and Abbott isn’t exactly as big as those mentioned nor are its stars, so I was surprised that not only Brunson, but every one of the main cast was commanding a multi-million-dollar a year salary. I expected mid six figs for James, Perfetti, and Davis, high six figs for Williams, Walter, and Ralph, and just over a milli for Brunson.

She’s getting ready to be the new Jean Smart by first getting nominated in different categories in comedy, drama and limited over the space of 10 years and we love to see it!

Do we have any updates on who’s Lead and Supporting for Monsters?

As far as the Globe prediction goes (likely placements until otherwise since the GD staff liaison with studios/networks about placements)

    • Lead – Bardem, Sevigny
    • Supporting – everyone else

I’ve only seen the first two episodes but that would be one of the most egregious abuse of category fraud I have seen in quite some time. It would be the equivalent of Only Murders S1 running Selena & The Martin supporting whilst running Julian Cihi (Tim Kono) as lead. Chavez and Koch are undeniably leads, with strong supporting work from Dallas Roberts. That’s the only three acting nominations I see for the show right now (I assume Graynor & Lane will also have substantial material given their roles and what I know about the case).

There’s also a little glimpse at Wednesday season 2

I expected mid six figs for James, Perfetti, and Davis, high six figs for Williams, Walter, and Ralph, and just over a milli for Brunson.

But those examples we listed are those of the highest paid roles on television. Drew Carey was paid close to $2 million more for the later seasons of The Drew Carey Show when the show was in a similar position on the rankings of the most watched shows on broadcast television and his show wasn’t anywhere near as successful as Abbott is when it comes to garnering accolades (and obviously was not getting the streaming bump it was). Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen and Alan Ruck(!!!) all got paid $300,000 per episode of Succession season 3 (Brian Cox got $500,000). Tyler James Williams comparatively as the second billed actor on Abbott Elementary and its male lead is getting $250,000 per episode. I know Frasier was a lot more successful in the 90s/early 00s than Abbott is now but that’s the same amount of money that Jane Leeves was paid for the later seasons of Frasier as the one time Emmy nominated fourth on the call sheet cast member and that was considered to be low at the time (to the point that it broke headlines).

It’s also worth pointing out that if Abbott gets through two 22 episode seasons it will hit syndication around season 6 and upping William Stanford Davis’s pay to $100,000 per episode (the bar most actors would be elated to meet) is an effective but not too pricey an incentive from the network and Warner Bros. to keep the show going.
