Specifics as to Koechner’s role are under wraps. As we were first to report, Jesse Garcia and Jess Weixler star in the pic about a couple struggling with a failing marriage and mounting debts that stumbles upon a hidden fortune of gold within the walls of their home, leading them to concoct a risky plan to sell it and solve their financial troubles.

Exclusive: Ted and Seinfeld actor Patrick Warburton is to co-host the pilot for a movie props docuseries from Tom Biolchini and Juan Pablo Reinoso.
The actor has signed on after producer Keli Price of Price Productions negotiated a deal with Gersh, Warburton’s agents. Shooting is se to take place in the UK and other parts of the world.
The series, which is being independently funded and doesn’t yet have a network or streamer attached, is inspired by a feature doc of the same name from director Reinoso and Biolchini, who will co-host the show with Warburton. Reinoso is directing the pilot.

Australia-based indie sales firm Odin’s Eye Animation has picked up international rights to adult-skewing animation film “The Weird Kidz.”
The film, which has a 1980s vibe and sense of humor, debuted last year in festivals and Odin’s Eye will be using Berlin’s European Film Market to launch an expanded version.
A weekend camping trip becomes a disarming and unexpected rite of passage for three adventurous boys and one big brother looking to score with his girlfriend. All hell breaks loose when the campers fall into a nest of conspiring townsfolk and a secret society practicing ritual sacrifice to a terrifying creature from the crypt.
The film is written, directed and animated by the multi-hyphenate Zach Passero, whose has editing credits on a trio of Lucky McKee films, including the acclaimed “The Woman.” Production is by Charles Horak (“First Date”) and McKee.

The film festival begins November 11th at the Tribeca Cinemas and included in the 2010 lineup are the following features: the kidnap thriller Bereavement, the mysterious Yellow Brick Road, the rock and roll musical Don't Go in the Woods, the French Film The Pack, the Pagan influenced Outcast, the gender bending Ticked Off Trannies with Knives, and two others. The horror short line-up is diverse, with over thirty four showings. Has it been a decade of films and freaks already? Well, it has! The 10th annual Coney Island Film Festival is set to run once again on Sept. 24-26 at the world famous Sideshows by the Seashore — the last operating circus-style sideshow/freak show in the U.S.A.
The festival starts with real bang this year with the Brooklyn premiere of Gary Beeber‘s latest documentary Dirty Martini and the New Burlesque, which chronicles the rise of the hot new burlesque trend in NYC and its most popular star, Dirty Martini. The film will also be preceded by two short films: The recently uncovered Museum of Wax by playwright Charles Ludlam and Jaye Cherian’s documentary Shape of the Shapeless.
