Born into a family of artists and musicians, P. Carter's childhood years were spent immersed in New York City's music, fashion and contemporary art worlds. As an adolescent they lived in Paris, London, Berlin and Tokyo and were inspired to write about global metropolitan life. Carter graduated with an MFA in screenwriting from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and is best known for writing HBO'S The Leftovers + and directing VICE's culture-noir sleeper hit, The Paris Project. P. Carter Founded the 160BPM film collective and is based at home in Brooklyn.
