My Hero Academia has been creating waves in the anime world with the addition of Season 7. Kōhei Horikoshi’s work has become the talk of the town because of his amazing narrative and the complexities between good and evil. Not many fans know that Horikoshi struggled with inspiration while designing the My Hero Academia universe.

The mangaka’s passion and interest in the superhero genre captivated several viewers. Not to mention, the final battle between heroes and villains changes the audience’s perspective of many characters drastically. From Shigaraki to Dabi, every League of Villains member suffered from a traumatic past.
Indeed, experiencing such mental anguish at an early age developed their mistrust towards heroes who were known as the symbol of peace throughout the series. Nevertheless, Horikoshi did a fascinating job depicting society’s misbehavior towards villains, leading them to a dark path.

Hiromu Arakawa is a gem in the world of story-telling. While she wasn’t always a writer, she has a variety of works of all genres that resonate with the heart. Famously, Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the most classic anime and manga, and it’s a must-watch for anime fans, old and new. For this, fans have embraced her as one of the best mangakas out there.

Arakawa has the ability to blend sharp plots with complex themes and even more iconic characters. The Elric brothers are one of the best duos in the history of anime. But is Arakawa’s creativity limited to the world of alchemy? Her library includes history drama to her very own autobiography with equally vibrant art. It’s time to highlight and explore those works.

The newest song from Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law, “Hero” was met with backlash on social media.
The song was originally released in May. However, Lara and co-performer Madeline Jaymes only released the music video on August 23.
It was recorded to honor firemen and police officers who risked their lives for public safety. It shows dark shots of Lara and Jaymes singing in a music studio and, at times, on a fire escape.
window._taboola = window._taboola || []; _taboola.push({ mode: 'thumbnails-mid', container: 'taboola-mid-article-thumbnails', placement: 'Mid Article Thumbnails', target_type: 'mix' });
The video is cut with a photo montage of actual firefighters and what appears to be staged footage of firefighters rescuing people.
Together, these women sang the lyrics: “You’re going through the fire, and the flames getting higher/You’re my hero/You’re my hero/You’re climbing up the ladder and the screams getting louder/You’re my hero.

After enthralling readers for over a decade, Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia has finally concluded with all Class 1A students finally graduating. Mha‘s narrative follows the story of a young boy who symbolizes every characteristic of true heroism despite being born Quirkless.
Surprisingly, Kōhei Horikoshi received tons of criticism as Mha‘s epilogue sparked several debates online for its rushed ending. In the last manga chapter, Horikoshi portrays Deku as a UA teacher, marking the culmination of his journey. Naturally, several fans were left disappointed as their beloved failed to reach the top spot at the Heroes Ranking.

“Resilience” is a powerful theme that resonates deeply with the Shonen fans. The concept of a protagonist battered and bruised, but still standing up to fight another day, is firmly infused into the genre’s structure. While many series explore this concept, few manage to do it as effectively as Yūki Tabata’s Black Clover.

Yūki Tabata captured this notion perfectly with Asta; the protagonist who never gives up. On the other hand, Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia makes an effort to portray a similar theme via its protagonist, Izuku Midoriya (Deku), but never quite hits the mark with the same impact.
Yūki Tabata’s Gripping Vision for Black Clover
In Black Clover, Asta’s story begins with him being at an absolute disadvantage since he is born without magical abilities in a world where magic determines status and power. But still,...

Updated with Trump comment: Special Counsel Jack Smith on Tuesday filed a new indictment against Donald Trump, narrowing the scope of claims against the former president after the Supreme Court ruled that he was immune from conduct that were official acts.
A new grand jury again indicted Trump on four counts of conspiracy and obstruction to remain in power after the 2020 presidential election.
Those four counts are the same as those filed last year, but what is missing are some of the allegations to back them up. That includes claims that Trump sought to pressure Justice Department officials as he challenged the election results.

One Piece has been going strong for 25 years and still counting. Over the years, Eiichiro Oda has embellished the story with layers of detail, numerous mysteries, and hundreds of characters. These characters are undeniably a huge reason behind the massive popularity of One Piece, but they have also posed some problems for Oda.

Oda opens about the need to create too many characters and then having to keep up with them. But it wasn’t necessarily the characters posing the challenge, rather the long-running nature of his series.

Despite all the criticism, Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover is recognized as one of the greatest new-gen masterpieces. With only a few chapters left before the manga’s conclusion, Black Clover will soon join the ranks of other great shonen manga, such as My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer.
Yuki Tabata created an entirely new magical universe with intriguing characters for his audience. As the anime picks up pace, most fans overlook the earlier criticism of Naruto and Asta’s resemblance thanks to Black Clover‘s engaging plot and splendid narrative.

The “police station” built in a few days from an old retail unit in Surawong, central Bangkok, is so realistic from the outside that several pedestrians stop and stare, perhaps wondering if this is the place they should come to report some petty crime in the adjacent Patpong red light district.
Inside, the building’s temporary reality as a set for the martial arts action movie “The Furious” is quickly revealed. Among the scuffed and rusting gray metal desks, the ground floor has all the trappings of an active and dow- at-heel cop shop. There are notices on every wall: wanted posters, mission statements, job ads and regulations. But the giveaway — revealing that the film is set in an unnamed part of Southeast Asia, rather than any specific country — is that the background verbiage is largely in English. And that in between the police paraphernalia there are piles of lighting...

Kohei Horikoshi recently took the plunge by ending My Hero Academia. The series that fans had been following for an entire decade finally turned the last page. It had been an entire decade of ups and downs that finally came to an end.

Who could forget the throwback moment when Taylor Swift and Zac Efron playfully dissed Ellen DeGeneres on the latter’s show? With the same gusto as their dynamic performances on screen, Swift and Efron harmoniously strummed their guitars on The Ellen DeGeneres Show; the duo was there to promote their animated film The Lorax.
Taylor Swift in Anti-Hero | Vevo/YouTube
So, it was 2012, a time when the multi-talented Swift had already bedazzled the world, flourishing in both sensational tunes and compelling acting roles—like voicing Audrey in The Lorax. Efron, no stranger to the limelight with his High School Musical pedigree, complemented Swift’s radiance as they shared the spotlight in the 2012 Chris Renaud animated flick.
During their visit to the show, they performed an original song about DeGeneres’ interviews being “weird”. Well, this performance was subtle yet spicy commentary that had the host “sitting there sweating”, as one fan remarked.

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoilers for Mha manga ending!
My Hero Academia was completed on August 4, 2024. After a decade of covering 430 chapters, Izuku Midoriya has fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming the greatest hero. But it was not a smooth ride as he had to sacrifice One for All for victory over the villains. He has become quirkless once again, and after a time-skip of 8 years, he is seen to be guiding the next generation of heroes at U.A.
However, the fans were not satisfied with the conclusion. They believe that Kohei Horikoshi could have done a better job. After its conclusion, My Hero Academia revealed that the franchise will announce something of greater importance on August 5, 2024. Since it had a mediocre end, the fans wish it was an announcement of a sequel.

He is probably one of the most renowned and powerful anime characters ever created. Kakarot is known for being a power-hungry warrior who would put the fate of Universe 7 at risk just to battle strong foes.

My Hero Academia will conclude on August 4, 2024, after running for almost a decade. With the last chapter to be published, several mangaka have shared a heartfelt message with Kohei Horikoshi. They congratulated him on an amazing journey for the past decade. Gege Akutami is one of those mangaka who congratulated.
Unlike other mangaka, the Jujutsu Kaisen creator shares a special relationship with Horikoshi. They have known each other for a long time. Gege Akutami is also a massive fan of Horikoshi, and without the latter, they would not have created Jujutsu Kaisen. It shows how deeply they feel for each other.

Exclusive: Director and actress Joan Chen has purchased the life rights of Dr. Qin Huilan and Wei-Lai.
Qin Huilan is a 70-year-old, retired doctor who traveled to Shanghai in 2022 to visit her youngest son, Wei-Lai. As the weather got cold, Huilan borrowed a cashmere coat from her son who surprisingly had a closet full of major designer brands, including Prada. Despite the unspoken taboo subject, the two of them formed a new bond over fashion when Wei-Lai encouraged her to begin posting photos in his outfits on social media accounts that he had created for her.
The following grew quickly, and caught the attention of Ashley Brokaw, an American fashion casting director who is known for her work with Prada. Brokaw direct messaged Huilan via Instagram, informing her that she had spoken with Mrs. Prada, and the two of them would love to have Huilan walk in the 2024 MiuMiu Paris Fashion Week show.

“Harold and the Purple Crayon” is a picture book — now a movie — about the importance of imagination. So let’s try to imagine something together, shall we? Let’s all imagine a film starring Zooey Deschanel as an employee of a great big store who meets a childlike fantasy character who left home and now enters the real world in search of his father, who messes up the store she works at but ultimately teaches her a valuable lesson about believing in magic.
Have you got that film in your head? Does it look exactly like the movie “Elf,” that Christmas classic that came out over 20 years ago? Well, now imagine that it’s very purple, not very funny, and it stars Zachary Levi instead of Will Ferrell. “Harold and the Purple Crayon” claims to be about the power of the creative spirit but it’s cobbled together from so many similar films —“Enchanted,...

According to Tokyo-based Weekly Toyo Keizai, a Japanese finance and business magazine, the rights to who owns Dragon Ball are somewhat murky at the moment, following the untimely demise of franchise creator Akira Toriyama.
The conflict is centered around Akio Iyoki, the former head of Shuiesha (Dragon Ball's publisher) Dragon Ball Room- which was a group Shuiesha formed in 2016 to make decisions regarding all-things Dragon Ball.
However, Iyoki recently decided to go independent and established a new company, called Capsule Corporation, obviously taking inspiration from the company owned by Bulma and Dr. Brief in the Dragon Ball franchise.
According to the report, Shuiesha was unhappy with some of the actions that Iyoki made during his tenure as head of the Dragon Ball Room- specifically, that Iyoki frequently made decisions based on Toriyama's wishes, not necessarily what the top executives at Shuiesha wanted.
This ultimately led to Iyoki being reassigned to another department,...

One of the most beloved characters in the Naruto series, Itachi Uchiha, is the subject of an ongoing debate that has reappeared among the community. Although fans have praised Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto for his detailed storytelling and complex character development, some feel that he made Itachi overly dependent on Mangekyo Sharingan’s skills.
Itachi Uchiha | Studio Pierrot
A key component of Itachi’s fighting technique has always been the Mangekyo Sharingan, a potent Dojutsu that grants its users incredible abilities like Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo. He is one of the most feared shinobi in the Naruto series because these skills are often seen as his trump cards in fights. However, some fans argue that Kishimoto may have overblown these skills to the point of overshadowing Itachi’s natural strategic and tactical excellence.

With the launch of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero drawing ever closer, we are getting to learn more about what to expect from the title resurrecting the Budokai Tenkaichi series. The universe is one of the most expansive in anime, and a true fighting game would reflect the same with the character roster.
Thankfully, Sparking Zero is doing just this, as we have learned of many characters who will be playable in the game. One can expect the usual suspects to appear: Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, etc. But there are also some more niche characters on the list, which could hint at more to come!
Reveal of One Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Character Confirms Inclusion of a New Entry Go big or go home in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero!
The 3D environments of the Budokai Tenkaichi games allowed the developers to create fights that, otherwise, would not have had the same impact in the side-to-side format.

Taylor Swift‘s “Shake It Off” is one of the defining songs of her career, helping her transition from country music to the more expansive world of pop. Interestingly, she wasn’t the first pop star to have a hit single with that title. In fact, the earlier song has the same message as Swift’s.
Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ was part of a larger trend in 2010s pop music
Swift’s “Shake It Off” is a simple self-empowerment anthem. It came at the tail end of a wave of 2010s self-empowerment anthems, such as Katy Perry’s “Firework,” Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” and Pink’s “Raise Your Glass.” Notably, Mariah Carey has been uplifting listeners with her music before Swift or any of her contemporaries recorded a single note of music.

We've had one space race, yes, but what about a second space race? Granted, this latest one is probably a tad less dramatic than the U.S. and Russia vying for bragging rights to the moon during the Cold War. But since when have sci-fi fans ever let facts get in the way of a good story, anyway?

The new Netflix series 3 Body Problem is continuing to tell the story of its first season through some “additional episodes” that the streamer has ordered, which will seemingly segue into new seasons as the show has been renewed for two more. The 3 Body Problem was the title of the first novel in Liu Cixin’s Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy. The second novel was titled The Dark Forest and the third was Death’s End. The first season of 3 Body Problem did pull in a sizeable audience, but the show wasn’t exactly the massive hit Netflix was hoping it would be, especially when you factor in the price tag of over $20 million per episode.
