At the beginning of the movie Goldie Hill is singing "Honky Tonk Blues" in 1945. The song was originally recorded by Hank Williams in 1952, seven years after the scene was to have taken place.
Hank's car wreck occurred in the early 60's, when he is taken to the mental hospital the ambulance driver was wearing a star of life patch on his jacket. This patch was not designed until the late 60's and did not come into prominent use until the middle 70's.
