It premiered on December 15, 2018 with 2.1 million viewers. It tied with Once Upon a Christmas Miracle (2018) for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' highest-rated original movie premiere in network history.
While talking to the potential buyers, the husband talks about his ranch in Montana to Zoey. Ashley Williams played a similar role to the one she plays here of a relative leaving her a ranch in Montana Sky (2007). In that film, she and her two sisters inherited the family ranch, which was in Montana.
Zoey buys a Christmas Tree in town, and it's tied to the roof of her inherited Jeep with the tree facing in the wrong direction (top of the tree over the hood). If she traveled any distance and/or at any appreciable speed, it would damage, the tree tied in that position.
This is James Iver Mattson's return to Christmas writing since UAV's Christmas in Cartoontown (1996).
