About An-Nisa

Our Mission

To empower individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency by providing comprehensive services including case management, mental health care, community support, and education. We aim to equip them with the resources and skills needed to overcome challenges and build a stable, independent future.

Our Vision

To eliminate crisis within the family unit by fostering supportive environments where families can overcome challenges, build healthy relationships, and maintain stability.

  • Educate

We foster healthy families by raising awareness and offering hope and support to those in need.

  • Empower

We empower survivors on their healing journey with crisis intervention, safety planning, and therapy.

  • Enrich

We build stronger communities by offering support and resources that help individuals thrive and grow.

Our Services

  • An-Nisa provides domestic violence and financial case management. Our team collaborates with our clients to provide comprehensive services to achieve safety, stability, and self-sufficiency. Our case managers perform a complete assessment of the client and their situation in order to ensure they qualify for services.

Case managers work collaboratively with shelters, legal, counseling, and community partners to ensure the best outcomes for all clients.

  • An-Nisa’s Mental Health professionals use a trauma-informed approach. Trauma-informed care is an approach to therapy that asks “What happened to you?” rather than “What is wrong with you?” This shifts the tone from victim-blaming to recognizing the person as a survivor. Trauma-informed care is a set of guiding principles that recognize trauma has significant effects on people and is often not recognized.

Mental health services include individual counseling, support groups, marital/pre-marital counseling, psychiatric care, neurofeedback, and more.

  • The Roadmap to a Successful Relationship, or simply "the Roadmap," is a comprehensive program designed to provide individuals, couples, or groups with the tools and understanding necessary to mend troubled relationships. This non-therapy approach aims to facilitate solutions and help participants navigate the challenges they face in their daily lives.

Whether you're an individual seeking personal development, a couple navigating your journey together, a family building stronger bonds, or even friends working through challenges, Roadmap is designed for you.

  • An-Nisa has an array of youth programs available. Programs include the Emerging Leaders program, iBelong Mentorship, and the An-Nisa Tutoring and Quran Academy.

Emerging Leaders is a program by the youth for the youth. It is dedicated to unlocking potential within young people. The program is designed to nurture leadership skills, foster a sense of community, and empower youth to make a positive impact on the world around them.

The An-Nisa Tutoring and Quran Academy continues to be a free, K-12 online tutoring service and resource, dedicated to teaching students in low-income and marginalized communities.

  • Community Fulfillment was launched with the community’s needs in mind, including refugee services, emergency response, and food/toy/clothing drives.

Refugee assistance has been a crucial project for our Community Fulfillment team. The team has assisted 4,000+ refugees since August 2021.

  • The Vision of Ar-Rijal Center of Excellence is to establish Excellence at the Center of every Muslim Man.

Our Mission is to raise our faith and character as Muslim Men to the highest degree in alignment with Islamic principles, morals, and ethics for spiritual, physical, mental, social, and personal growth in all aspects of our lives, for our own benefit, and for the benefit of those around us.
