To pair with drinks, order a “dad pie” topped with sausage, mushrooms, and jalapeño or a hearty smoked brisket agnolotti.

Anderson .Paak teamed up with the prolific Houston brothers to open one of West Hollywood’s hottest new bars — a ’70s-style jazz and R&B club. Barman Devin Espinosa developed the cocktail menu which features drinks like the Places to Be with clementine cordial and prosecco, as well as the Suede with amaro, mezcal, and vermouth. Those drinking with a group can opt for the Ape Shit which serves four and features rum, banana liqueur, and Aperol.

The team behind Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen opened a rooftop bar on the top floor of the cafe’s Downtown location. The new cocktail and taco bar serves up stunning views and a cocktail menu by Spring Street Bar veteran barman Steen Bojsen Moller that mainly revolves around mezcal, rum, and tequila. The Up In The Sky is made with Sigiloso mezcal, pineapple juice, Chareau aloe liqueur, lemon, pineapple gum syrup, and saline, while the Loose Ends is served in a highball glass with Hennessy, Italicus apertivo, honey, and lemon.

Highland Park favorite Belle’s Bagels has finally expanded into the full-service deli it’s been teasing for years, and with it comes an all-new deli-inspired cocktail menu. The specialty cocktails are named after plays on classic Jewish and Yiddish terms like the Tekiah Negroni, a classic Negroni made with Amaro Angeleno, and the Mezcal Tov with mezcal, manzanilla sherry, celery shrub, and lime. In addition to the specialty cocktails, Belle’s also serves a full martini menu, alongside other classic drinks.
