Agnes is still passionate about saving the environment and ridding it of plastic. The tension in the motherhouse is great, as Superior Theodora in Rome does indeed have very good prospects of leading the religious congregation, while Auxiliary Bishop Landkammer would like to get the bishop's post. He finally confides in Sister Hanna that by kissing in public he has jeopardized his hitherto secret relationship with Cordula Brenner, a somewhat older, conservative politician and mayor of a neighboring community in Kaltenthal. Cordula has just broken up and is in the middle of an election campaign. She has great doubts that a relationship with a younger man can really work in the long run. In addition, she could jeopardize her re-election. A party colleague who saw the kiss puts Cordula under additional pressure.
