A 'three-in-one' crystal of coordination networks

Chem Commun (Camb). 2002 Sep 7:(17):1866-7. doi: 10.1039/b203025j.

Abstract

Three types of coordination polymers are formed together in one crystal when a linear bifunctional ligand of length 15.7 A is reacted with Cd(NO3)2 in the presence of mesitylene or m-xylene or o-xylene, which is also included in the crystal as a guest.
