Marrow transplantation in cancer therapy

Abstract

Issues in bone marrow transplantation were addressed. Reconstitution of hematopoietic function is achieved by autologous, syngeneic, or allogeneic bone marrow transplant. Problems related to transplants from HLA mismatched family members, and HLA matched unrelated donors were also delineated.
