Pedunculated presentation of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans

J Am Acad Dermatol. 2003 Dec;49(6):1139-41. doi: 10.1016/s0190-9622(03)00439-0.

Abstract

A 26-year-old patient had a dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans that clinically was considered to represent either a skin tag or neurofibroma. Histopathologically, this lesion could easily have been misinterpreted as a neurofibroma, particularly in the context of the clinical findings.
