Is celiac sprue an etiology of amyloidosis?

Abstract

Gluten-sensitive enteropathy is a chronic disease due to malabsorption, and chronic inflammatory disorders may be a cause of secondary amyloidosis. We hereby report the first case with diagnosis of amyloidosis and gluten-sensitive enteropathy.
