Group A streptococcus bacteraemia complicated by osteomyelitis in an immunocompetent adult

Abstract

Osteomyelitis due to group A streptococcus is an unusual complication of varicellae in children. We report the first case of group A streptococcus bacteraemia complicated by multifocal osteomyelitis in an adult.
