Abstract

Pneumonia remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with AIDS or treated with immunosuppressive drugs. At the present time, early diagnosis and efficacious curative treatment condition a favourable outcome. Current progresses are based on improvement in diagnostic methods and prolylactic regimens.
