Abstract
Chiral ligand-exchange chromatography has been shown to be effective in the resolution and semipreparative separation of 1-aminoindan-1,5-dicarboxylic acid (AIDA) enantiomers. In functional activity experiments, only (S)-AIDA was a potent and mGluR1 subtype selective antagonist.
