Abstract

Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP) is a systemic vasculitis that occurs most often in children and rarely follows exposure to drugs or other environmental factors. Aloe is one of the most widely used traditional remedies and has been associated with gastrointestinal and renal complications. We report a case of HSP in an adult patient who had previously received the herb Aloe vera.
