Acne scarring: current treatment options

Abstract

Acne vulgaris is one of the most common skin disorders treated in dermatology. Subsequent scarring that may result from acne can lead to devastating consequences. There are currently a wide variety of treatment modalities available for acne scarring. The most widely used options are reviewed.
