Can transthoracic live 3-dimensional echocardiography improve the recognition of midventricular obliteration in hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy?

J Am Soc Echocardiogr. 2006 Sep;19(9):1190.e1-4. doi: 10.1016/j.echo.2006.04.031.

Abstract

In this report the authors analyzed the usefulness of live 3-dimensional echocardiography in association with conventional 2-dimensional method to improve the recognition of left ventricular midcavitary obliteration in a patient with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
