Objective: To research the best processing method of Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bge. without hair by water.
Methods: L9(3)4 orthogonal table were decided with three effect factors: moistening time, temperature, thickness. According to the amount of sarsasapogenin and mangiferin, Orthogonal design was applied to investigate on the technology of processing Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bge. without hair by water.
Results: The moistening time has apparent effects on the sum of sarsasapogenin and mangiferin in Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bge. The best processing method is as follows: Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bge. is moistened for 15 h, then steaming at 60 degrees C after sliced to 3 mm.
