Surgical glue resembling left atrial thrombus

Abstract

A 41-year-old female with Down's syndrome and severe aortic regurgitation underwent homograft aortic root replacement. During the operation, surgical glue was applied which appeared to have inverted the left atrial appendage giving an appearance of a left atrial mass.
