Acute stent thrombosis remains a potential complication after stent implantation. With the introduction of electrocardiographic gated multidetector row computed tomography (MDCT), a new nonnvasive imaging modality has become available that may contribute to the detection of complications after complex interventional procedures. We present a case where CT angiography was performed just prior to the clinical presentation of acute stent thrombosis in a 55-year-old male who was treated with the crush technique in a bifurcation lesion.
