We report two patients in whom postural changes induced arrhythmias. The first is a 70-year-old patient in whom leg flexion caused severe bradycardia. The second is a patient of 42 in whom standing up abruptly caused ventricular tachycardia. The importance of considering the possibility of posturally induced arrhythmias is emphasised when symptoms suggestive of arrhythmia are found and conventional measures fail to disclose any pathology.
