These antibiotics have a systemic effect on L-leucine absorption. 4. The inhibition of these antibiotics affect only leucine transport, without affecting the diffusion. 5. Cefatrizine and cephaloglycine inhibit the basolateral (Na(+)-K+) ATPase activity in rat jejunum.
