A sensitive and specific electrochemiluminescent sensor for lead based on DNAzyme

Chem Commun (Camb). 2009 Oct 28:(40):6050-2. doi: 10.1039/b911191c. Epub 2009 Aug 21.

Abstract

A specific ECL sensor for Pb2+ based on DNAzyme has been developed for the first time; the detection limit of 1.1 x 10(-11) mol l(-1) is much lower than those of fluorescent, colorimetric or electrical biosensors.
