Abstract

We report the case of a carcinoid tumor with suspicion of recurrence on biology. Scintigraphic explorations of the whole body had a major role in diagnostic of this recurrence. OctreoScan((R)) showed an abdominal uptake corresponding to a mesenteric lymph node. PET with (18)F-DOPA also showed a liver uptake corresponding to liver metastases.
