Abstract

Allergic diseases have the increasing tendency in childhood. Over the 80% patients have the atopic tendency. The environmental control is important in the disease control and prevention. In the treatment of childhood allergic diseases we should consider the following points; (1) The key persons of their treatment are their parents. They could not express their symptoms completely. (2) They are growing. (3) The effects of background are important for the cause, treatment, and prognosis. (4) They are easily effected by the environmental factors. (5) Exercise-induced asthma should be controlled in school-aged asthmatic patients. (6) The prevalence of allergic diseases are influenced by respiratory infections in early days. (7) In adolescent, the control of allergic diseases have many difficulties, for example, drug compliance or adherence, the first smoking experience, busy in schooldays, examination, sports club, and entrance examination for high school, college, or job, etc.
