Abstract

A 22-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with epigastric pain. At first the diagnosis 'pneumonia' was made, based on a chest X-ray. CT-thorax revealed herniation of the colon in a diaphragmatic rupture, which was caused by an old stab wound.
