Abstract

The data on angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, a new class of drugs used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases such as arterial hypertension and heart failure are considered. The information on clinical pharmacology of the drugs, short-term and long-term results of treatment, side effects, drug interactions is presented.
