Abstract

Purpose: To describe a case of hemorrhagic retinopathy secondary to aplastic anemia caused by 6-mercaptopurine.

Methods: A case report of a patient who presented as an outpatient to the Ophthalmology service of the New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Conclusion: To the authors' knowledge, this is the first reported case of hemorrhagic retinopathy secondary to aplastic anemia caused by 6-mercaptopurine.
