Central serous chorioretinopathy following medial transposition of split lateral rectus muscle for complete oculomotor nerve palsy

J AAPOS. 2017 Apr;21(2):161-162. doi: 10.1016/j.jaapos.2016.09.020. Epub 2016 Dec 23.

Abstract

Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) is an incompletely understood condition in which a primary dysfunction of the choriocapillaris, retinal pigment epithelium, or both causes a detachment of the neurosensory retina. We report the first case of CSCR as a complication of strabismus surgery and explore pathogenic mechanisms.
