Abstract

Organ retrieval from deceased donors after controlled circulatory arrest improves access to kidney transplantation as a complement to brain dead donors. Authorised since 2014, they represent a real opportunity for patients awaiting a kidney transplant. The initial national results of the French protocol are encouraging.
