Abstract

Invited for this month's cover is the group of Gyorgy Szekely at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The image shows the efficient TEMPO-based electrocatalytic transformation of biomass-based C₆ -platform chemical HMF to DFF using non-precious-metal-based electrodes in green solvents with nanofiltration-enabled catalyst recovery.
