Abstract

Cranial ultrasound (CUS) is an indispensable tool in the evaluation of intracranial pathology in premature and term neonates and older infants. Familiarity with standard cranial ultrasound techniques and parameters, normal anatomy, and commonly encountered abnormalities is crucial for providing appropriate care for these patients. This review provides a comprehensive overview of cranial ultrasound in clinical practice.
