Abstract

The authors describe a case of hypertrophic erythematous lupus in a 64- year-old male. Warty elements appeared in patches typical of discoid lupus erythematosus, confined almost exclusively to the limbs. The reported cases of this uncommon variety are reviewed, and the clinical, histopathological and differential diagnostic features are discussed.
