Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis and ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament in the thoracic spine

Abstract

A patient with the simultaneous occurrence of ossification of the longitudinal ligament and diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis of the thoracic spine is presented. The clinical, radiographic, and historical aspects of OPLL are briefly reviewed.
