Thoracic ultrasound (TUS) is a key method for assessing pleural and lung abnormalities. TUS is vital for diagnosing conditions such as pulmonary edema, pleural effusions, and pneumothorax, offering a non-invasive, rapid bedside diagnostic tool. Despite its benefits, TUS is underused due to insufficient training in clinical practice. Enhancing education and practice in TUS could improve its application in clinical settings.
