Localized intestinal perforations after enteral administration of indomethacin in premature infants

Abstract

Four very-low-birth-weight infants developed localized intestinal perforations after enteral administration of indomethacin. The clinical picture and histologic findings were unlike those seen in necrotizing enterocolitis.
